About International Studies (Asian Studies) at De La Salle University

The multi-disciplinary character of the track allows for a proficiency and knowledge of Asia with a distinctive combination of the social sciences and the humanities. In addition, students can choose from at least one area of concentration. The aim of the Asian Studies track is to prepare students to meet the demand for area specialists by fostering knowledge of the region’s history, culture, politics, and economics, and enhancing critical thinking and applied skills to respond to the growing challenges of the region.

The Asian Studies program is packaged to suit the needs of students and prepare them to pursue either continue a PhD or a career in business, international organizations, government, as well as cultural and think-tank organizations.
