Overview
The International Trade course from Istanbul Ticaret University aims to graduate individuals who are not only familiar with concepts and theories of international trade but are also proficient in import-export operations and techniques, capable of applying academic knowledge to practice, and willing to actively contribute to the formulation of foreign trade strategies and policies at both the firm and national level.
The Master’s programme in International Trade, offered under the Institute of Graduate Education, is structured around three main pillars:
- Foreign trade policies implemented by governments on a national economy level,
- Business management and marketing strategies focused on international trade practices at the firm level,
- The World Trade System, which defines the legal framework of international trade practices and policies and sets the principles and rules that all actors must comply with in global goods and services flows.
