About International Business (specialized in Chinese Economy) at Fudan University
Fudan University, founded in 1905, is one of the most prestigious universities in Asia and has consistently been listed among the TOP 3 universities in mainland China. It is among the best comprehensive universities, consisting of 32 schools and departments. Fudan is home to 13,623 undergraduates, 22,610 graduates including 3,672 foreign degree candidates, 2,700 staff and 3,100 fulltime teaching faculty members.
The School of Economics (SOE) was founded in April 1985. Its predecessors were the Business Division of Fudan (applied economics) set up in 1917 and the Department of Economics (theoretical economics) set up in 1922. As one of the top institutions of economic education and research in China, SOE commits to educating leaders who will make a difference in China and the world. With this mission, the school makes it a priority to do better research, further internationalization, and connect closely with society, businesses, government organizations and our alumni.

- Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.
- Diploma of highest degree conferred or proof of impending graduation
- Transcripts of highest degree conferred
- Original or notarized copy of TOEFL (IBT) score 90 or above, or IELTS (Academic) score 6.5 or above, or Duolingo English Test score 110 or above, or PTE Academic Test score 61 or above, taken within two years prior to application date (only for applicants from non-English speaking countries), students from high school with major courses taught in English may be waivered of the above English requirements.
- Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from whom can attest to the quality of the applicant’s academic performance and scholastic potential.
- Applicants who are under 18 years old by September 1, 2022 must submit a Guarantee Statement.
