With its unparalleled expertise in the social, political, cultural, and economic history of Hong Kong, the department from The University of Hong Kong offers the first MA programme in the world enabling students to conduct in-depth study in Hong Kong History.

What you'll study

Students choose five elective courses, with offerings varying from year to year, and they enjoy the flexibility to select offerings according to their academic interests and preferences.

The MA dissertation is completed under the supervision of an expert supervisor from inside or outside the department. Scholarship assistance may be available for students who are able to demonstrate financial need. Please see website for full details.
