Program Introduction

The Business Management program at the University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Lahore is designed to make a difference in the fields of business education and applied research. The program has a very strong research focus which is grounded in specified course work. Based on two-year duration for MPhil, the students are motivated to learn and apply the research tools and to produce high quality research output for industry. The objective is to enable students to develop research skills to identify the various business issues of industry and to suggest possible and viable solutions through their research work. Finally, the MPhil program endeavors to produce high quality professionals who could serve effectively in academia and industry.

General requirements

16 years of education in Business Administration i.e. BBA, B.com (Hons.) / MBA from HEC recognized University or equivalent

OR

16 years of education in any other discipline from HEC recognized University

Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 out of 4.00 in BBA / B.com/ MBA/ other equivalent degrees of semester system

OR

Minimum 2nd division with 50% marks according to annual system (where applicable).

In case, the applicant has completed 16 years of education in a discipline other than Business Administration i.e. MBA / B.com, BBA (Hons) but fulfills other eligibility requirements. Such applicant is bound to;

Take six deficiency courses, each of three credit hours

Take deficiency courses during the first two semesters these courses can be given in ongoing either morning or evening program at UBS

Take regular courses during the next semesters as per scheme of studies and thesis.

The duration of degree would be at least 3 years.
