About Art Research at Alzahra University

The faculty of Arts started its activities in 1964 with offering a degree program in Housewifery which was supplemented in 1966 by a second program in interior design that was later renamed interior architecture. It is presently offering 8 majors at BA level, 7 at MA level and 1 PhD program. Four full professors, 7 associate professors, 16 assistant professors and 9 lecturers make up the academic staff of the faculty of Arts.
