Program Educational Objectives (PEOS)

The educational objectives of the proposed M.Sc. in Nanotechnology and Nanoelectronics Engineering Program are derived from the mission and objectives of Zewail City of Science and Technology. The following program educational objectives are oriented to supply the market demand for highly professional nanotechnology engineers working in MEMS, Fabrication, electronics, and optics.

• Prepare post graduate students who are professional nanotechnology engineers who work as ideal examples for the next generations and raise the reputations of the city by their successful contributions to the engineering world.

• Prepare post graduate students who apply principles of mathematics, physics, and electronics, and micro-fabrication engineering concepts to design innovative, inexpensive, feasible, and fully functional nano-systems.

• Prepare post graduate students who take part in the development of the country’s nanotechnology systems and are able to work abroad at different scientific niches such as MEMS, micro-fabrication, electronics, and optics.

• Prepare post graduate students who have the required independency and professionality to pursue their graduate studies.
