Program Details
In the Radio, Television and Cinema from Marmara University, which undertakes a transition between traditional and new media and is an application-oriented field of study, the historical development of mass media and the sociological, psychological and economic dimensions of visual and audio media are examined in depth.
The students of the master's program of the Department of Radio, Television will be equipped with all the theoretical information required in the field of communication, audiovisual media consisting of radio, television, cinema, internet, telecommunication and satellite techniques and tools, and will be prepared for the media sector by equipping them with practical studies.

General requirements
- Applicants for the master's entrance exam must hold a bachelor's degree or, for conditional pre-acceptance, be students in the final semester of their undergraduate studies.
- Applicants must submit a document demonstrating a minimum passing score on the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) or an equivalent examination recognized by the Interuniversity Board.
- This score must be at least 60 for master's programs, at least 55 for proficiency in arts, at least 65 for doctoral programs, and at least 70 for those applying for doctoral and proficiency in arts programs with a bachelor's degree.
- Alternatively, applicants must submit a document demonstrating an equivalent score as announced by the Higher Education Council. However, graduates of Fine Arts faculties and conservatories are exempt from the ALES requirement when applying to the Fine Arts Institute.
