Dalhousie was the first university in Canada to offer this combination of a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master of Information (MI). You can receive both degrees in four years, rather than five, if taken separately.

To be admitted to Dalhousie University 's Master of Information combined with Juris Doctor programme, students must satisfy the entrance requirements of both degree programmes and apply for each programme separately.
