Furthermore, it includes knowledge and skills for ensuring activities, from the evaluation of challenges, conditions, problems and potentials of development and territorial capital, through the formulation of development goals, the development of strategic and operational plans, the coordination of spatially relevant sectoral planning activities to the management of the implementation of integrated development strategies and plans in the system of socioeconomic, landscape and territorial planning, planning of transport infrastructure, smart development of the countryside and cities, and the system of monitoring and information about the territory.
The Spatial Planning graduates from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava has knowledge of natural, technical, social and economic scientific disciplines, on the basis of which he can analyze and evaluate the state, properties and values of territorial systems in terms of natural and socio-economic complexes, development, culture, economy, ecology, economic and social structures, landscape aesthetics, forms of land use, identify problems and evaluate the resilience or vulnerability of social ecosystems.
