Overview

The research environment in the department provide an opportunity for graduate student to conduct corresponding basic and clinical research at the Pharmacology and New Drug Development program from Mahidol University.

The facilities of the Department of Pharmacology and the core facilities of the Faculty of Medicine provide state of the art research in students for biomedical science.

A recently implemented program in new drug development provides a huge resource of biomedicines with accompanying clinical training opportunity. This is a collaborating project with EU which will be the first program in Asean community.

Applicants should hold or be expected to earn either a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology, Plant Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biomedical science, Genetic Engineering, Bioengineering, Cancer Biology, Mathematics and Physics) or Doctor of Dental Surgery, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, medical relevant engineering from national or international institutes accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. Otherwise program's committee considers as appropriate for application.
Possess cumulative GPA not less than 2.7
Possess English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies
Applicants qualified for acceptance apart from (2) and (3) may be considered by the program committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
