It allows the participants to pursue an in depth study in the research area specified. The Education (by Research) program from University Teknologi Mara is carried out by research and is offered both on a full time and part time basis.

The graduates are expected to have a good career prospects relevant to their area of expertise in the public and private higher learning institutions. They could also find positions in education research and development suitable with their area of expertise.

Academic Pathway after Master of Education (by Research)

Education (by Research) graduates who wish to further their studies may pursue Doctor of Philosophy (Education) at the Faculty of Education UiTM or Ph.D in other higher learning institutions.

Any Bachelor's Degree (Honors) from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.75;

OR

Any Bachelor's Degree (Honors) from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 with at least ONE year of teaching/working experience;

OR

Any Bachelor's Degree (Honors) from a recognized university not meeting minimum requirement of CGPA 2.50 however with at least FIVE years of teaching/working experience;

OR

APEL A;

AND

A research proposal suited to the Faculty of Education's research areas;

AND

Pass the interview and test conducted by the Faculty of Education.
