
Overview
Our courses will provide you with the skills and knowledge to work in either client facing or back-office roles with Canadian banks, insurers, wealth management and financial planning firms. Following graduation, you will be eligible to write the CFP exam, offered through FP Canada. This Financial Planning Services program is offered at Conestoga College .
Note:
Students have the option to challenge the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Life Licensing Qualifying Program (LLQP) industry examinations, which provide credentials that are highly sought after by employers. There are additional fees associated with both industry examinations.
Careers
Graduates of the program are qualified to work in a variety of financial sector positions. These include banks, trust companies, insurance companies, mutual/fund investment companies, full-service and discount brokerage firms, as well as financial planning firms.

- English Proficiency
- Applicants with insufficient business background may be required to complete an introductory business course.
