Overview

Students of The International Hotel and Tourism Management program at Bond University will complete a program of core business and advanced hotel and tourism management subjects. These advanced subjects are designed to equip graduates with key capabilities expected of managers in the hotel and tourism sectors - including the ability to analyse complex information; develop strategies to identify and manage risk; build business resilience; embed sustainable practices into the business, and manage revenue. The program prepares students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in senior management positions in an industry which is characterised by change and uncertainty.

Outcome

A degree in hotel and tourism management is a qualification accepted nationally, and internationally, by leading hotel and tourism industry employers. It will prepare you for professional roles in the tourism industry including hotels, resorts, airlines, restaurants, theme parks, cruise lines, destination marketing and management organisations, and with event management companies.

Completion of an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 Bachelor degree at an approved institution.

As tuition is delivered in English, all students will be required to provide documented evidence of the required level of proficiency in the English language.

Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students.
