Overview

Pediatric Dentistry from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) is one of the specialty courses in dentistry, which aims to prevent, preserve and promote health, and diagnose and treat orodental diseases in healthy children and adolescents and in individuals with special needs. The educational materials in this specialty field consist of the materials taught during the general dental course but at a higher and more extensive learning level. Graduates passing the specially exams held by the authorities of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education will be certified as pediatric dentistry specialists.
