  • Search Engine Optimization Specialist

A search engine optimization specialist has a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. They must streamline, review, and then implement fully optimized websites so they appear in the top results on any given search engine. SEO specialists are also responsible for carrying out continuous keyword research, as well as managing content strategy, link building and keyword strategy.

To become a successful Search Engine Optimization specialist, technical knowledge should be complemented by excellent critical thinking skills. A working knowledge of programming, especially as it pertains to the web, is highly advised.
