Substantial emphasis is placed on theories and practices in the areas of international business, international negotiations and policy analysis of multilateral/bilateral trade agreements. In order to broaden student’s analytical perspectives on various issues, this program is designed to bring in more experienced professors and experts in the related fields.

Career outcomes

Graduates of the International Trade program from Sogang University are hired by multinational corporations, research institutes and government/international agencies. Students learn specialized subjects of their interests, for example, trade and environment, trade data analysis, regional trade integration, international economic laws and U.S. trade policy.

For many students from emerging economies or developing countries who are interested in Korean experiences in trade and investment, we offer courses like Korea’s economic development and Korea’s trade and industrial policies.
