You will learn how to use resilience thinking as an approach to managing social-ecological systems and to help solve real-world problems.

The Social-ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development programme from Stockholm University aims to enhance your knowledge of the complex interactions between social and ecological dynamics at different scales; particularly ecosystem management and governance in the context of change and uncertainty.

Career opportunities

The MSc programme serves as good preparation for continuation to PhD studies within social-ecological systems and sustainability.

Swedish upper secondary school course English 6 or equivalent.
