About EMBA Program

The Executive Business Administration program of the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University is designed to help senior managers for their fast-paced career progression, it offers 15 general courses (42 credit hours) during the 2-year (4 semester) period. Key approach between our MBA and EMBA programs is their approach to decision making. EMBA provides a more managerial approach as compared to functional expertise approach provided by MBA programs. EMBA programs also differ in terms of their teaching methods, examination and assessments and schedule of classes. Most of the EMBA classes are held on weekends.

General requirements

A credited bachelor degree with GPA (3.75 out of 5) or above.

A minimum of 5.5 IELTS score - or Equivalent English test proposed by the deanship of graduate studies.

Provision of GMAT scores.

A minimum of 8 years work experience including 2 years of upper-level management level. (This requirement may be reduced for applicants with exceptional records.)

Payment of tuition fees- and any other relevant fees announced by the college.

Attending college’s interview

Successful completion of MBA Executive Residency- period, if required. (two weeks orientation for non- business degree holders comprising a must attend seminars, workshops, and tutorials from various business topics)

Work experience

A minimum of 8 years work experience including 2 years of upper-level management level. (This requirement may be reduced for applicants with exceptional records.)
