Overview
Architecture (Professional) from Auckland University of Technology focuses on the relationship between people and their environments. Study architecture at AUT and gain an understanding of the critical, ethical, aesthetic, social cultural and technological components of architecture and the design of sustainable future environments.
You’ll develop a critical approach to architectural design, become familiar with architectural history and contemporary architecture practice, and learn to apply Te Aranga Māori design principles to your work.
Careers
The Master of Architecture (Professional) has been designed to meet the academic accreditation requirements for registration as an architect in New Zealand. Subject to accreditation by the Australian and New Zealand Architecture Program Accreditation Procedure (ANZ APAP) and an approved period of practical experience, graduates will be eligible to take the professional practice interview to become registered architects.
