What will you study?

At the Philosophy of Law Governance and Politics MA programme at Leiden University students will learn about the philosophical, methodological, systematic, and normative questions that come up in the study of law, politics, and policy. General requirements

If your diploma does not grant direct admission to the programme, you must meet the following requirements:

A bachelor’s degree from a research university, equivalent to the level of a Dutch academic Bachelor’s degree, or demonstrate to meet the requirements for such a degree, including the General Academic Skills listed in Appendix B, and
Either the bachelor's degree is in a discipline relevant to the chosen specialisation and the applicant possesses knowledge, understanding and skills comparable to those acquired upon completion of the pre-master's programme, for example by having earned a bachelor’s degree in a programme in which philosophy is combined with the chosen discipline;
or the bachelor's degree is in a discipline relevant to the chosen specialisation and the pre-master’s programme in philosophy is completed;
For the specialisation Philosophy of Law, the relevant disciplines must be in the field of law.
