Overview

From the basics of medical science to lab experiments for the Master’s thesis, individual scientific training takes priority. Experimental work in state-of-the-art research labs is essential; practicals in research labs, tutorials, excursions, lectures and seminars complement the curriculum. The ultimate goal is to train you in thinking out of the box and to provide knowledge that helps cover ground in research more quickly.

General requirements

We have a two-stage ability assessment in place. You need:

  • Thorough foundation in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology through a BSc degree in a life science discipline  (e.g. biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine)

  •  first-hand lab experience conducting experiments in molecular biology

  • English language proficiency at least on level C1 according to CEFR

  • vertebrate/human physiology knowledge acquired during your Bachelor studies via an entire course, add course description to your application to prove them
