Overview
Using various approaches, you will be able to quantitatively analyse current economic issues and formulate economic policy recommendations. You can complete part of the programme at Keio University in Tokyo or at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. You will qualify for careers in national and international organisations (e. g. central banks, World Bank, IMF, OECD, federal or state ministries, NGOs), private companies, research institutions and academic research.
The Economics program from Leipzig University is characterised by a broad range of topics and excellent methodological and theoretical training. In the compulsory modules ‘Advanced Microeconomics’, ‘Advanced Macroeconomics’ and ‘Advanced Econometrics and Statistics’ you will acquire the methods to quantitatively record and analyse economic relationships.
