The Information Security Engineering by the Shanghai Jiao Tong Universityis the first school-formed in China dedicated to national information security professional training and education of senior information security professionals of different levels including undergraduate, master and doctor. It is also one of the first institutions participating in a master-doctorate pilot program, focusing on three research directions:” Communications and Information System”, “Computer Applied Technology” and “Cryptography”.

School of Information Security Engineering determines the ideology of opening and jointly running. Its educational goal is to train senior information security professionals, influential in both international academic circles and domestic industrial circles, and to form internationally renowned applied basic research heights in the front of information security.
