Key facts
Upon successful completion of the 5.0 credits, Human Resource Management students at Trent University will have satisfied the nine subject areas required for the “Certified Human Resources Professional Designation (CHRP)” and be eligible to write the CHRP Knowledge Exam (CHRP-KE). For CHRP, students must achieve a cumulative average of 70% in all courses, with no individual course mark less than 65%. In order to take the exam, a student must be an enrolled member of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) of Ontario, which involves a monetary fee to the Association.
