Overview
Economics is a broad discipline that studies how societies produce, consume and allocate resources and provides thorough knowledge of consumer and societal behavior. Because economists recognize how global markets, prices and policies are shaped, they can often forecast economic recessions and expansions.
When you are ready to prepare for a career in economics, the master's programme can offer valuable exposure to experimental trends in the field. Experienced faculty also provide extensive knowledge of the world's economic history. The Economics programme is offered by The University of Arizona.
Key Features
The Department of Economics at Arizona prepares students for positions in universities, in the private sector, and in government and non-profit organizations. We offer both a MS and PhD programme in which students work closely with faculty to learn valuable skills in microeconomics and econometrics.
