The School of Medicine and Dentistry have collaborated with the School of Business to create an innovative Medical Leadership MSc course. This interdisciplinary approach applies the latest leadership research to a healthcare setting.

The course will help medical, allied health and social care practitioners become effective leaders. You'll learn how to lead staff and organisations through the complex and dynamic healthcare context.

The course is designed to meet NHS aims and the long term plan. This includes the Integrated Care policy and implementation. It is also relevant for international healthcare.

You can complete standalone modules in medical leadership.

You can complete this course as a PGCert, PGDip or MSc. A PGCert requires you to complete 60 credits, a PGDip requires you to complete 120 credits and you'll need to complete 180 credits to gain an MSc.
