The General Management program at the International School of Management (ISM) ensures an education with a strong international and practical focus. Integrated overseas study modules at partner universities in the U.S.A., India and Hong Kong enable MBA students to develop and utilize international management skills in the respective cultural environment.

Overview

During the General Management program at the International School of Management (ISM) special attention is also paid to the holistic development of knowledge for corporate management. 

Students are offered an intensive insight into corporate processes in the fields of strategy, general management, marketing, finance, accounting, operations, supply, internal management, innovation and entrepreneurship; as well as regional topics and leadership. In the latter field, in particular, the focus is placed on the targeted development of personality through intensive feedback processes. 

Opportunities

This is supported by individual coaching. Each MBA student is accompanied by a professional coach who helps to enhance necessary leadership and management qualifications.

The MBA General Management is geared towards preparing engineers, scientists and business economists for responsible management positions in international companies.

To be admitted to this study program, you need to prove that you have

  • successfully completed your first study program with a minimum study period of six semesters at a university or
  • an equivalent foreign higher education establishment,

and have

  • at least between two or three years' professional experience after the first degree and
  • an adequate command of the English language (TOEFL/IELTS).
