Programme Structure

Courses include:

Candidates need to complete four core courses (Dissertation, Research Methodology, Fundamentals of Linguistics & Language and Society) and two programme elective courses (Approaches to Discourse Analysis, Multilingualism, Phonetics and Phonology, Translation Studies, Pragmatics and Issues in Applied Arabic Linguistics).
The student will also have to submit a dissertation to be awarded the Master’s in Linguistics Degree.
