We are delighted to receive AoME (Academy of Medical Educators) accreditation for our post graduate diploma in medical education. The Academy's Professional Standards exist to provide; leadership and promotion of standards, support to all those involved in the academic discipline and practise of medical education, serve as a guide to curriculum development, and provide a recognised framework to allow you to advance in your career while working around your schedule.

This means on a successfully completion of our medical education diploma, you’ll be able to apply for full membership of the Academy of Medical Educators through a shortened assessment process, along with the ability to:

Inform educational practice, critically evaluate medical education theories and principles.
Show an awareness of advanced knowledge in educational methods and practise.

General requirements

Since our courses are conducted entirely online, they are accessible to both UK and international registered healthcare professionals without international surcharge.
Applicants will typically hold a first degree or equivalent (including international qualifications) in a relevant professional healthcare or management field.
Registered healthcare professionals or experienced managers working in the healthcare field, without these recognised qualifications will be considered on an individual basis and a wide range of prior experience may be taken into account. In some cases, applicants may be asked to submit a piece of work for assessment in order to confirm that they are able to work comfortably at postgraduate level, and demonstrate the requisite clinical and professional knowledge.
