Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering’ is a Nordic Five Tech (N5T) programme. This means that you get to study at two out of five of the most prominent Nordic universities: Aalto University School of Science in Finland, Technical University of Denmark, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, or Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
Students will gain proficiency in energy technology fundamentals, energy project procurement and implementation, conventional and renewable energy conversion technologies, environmental protection issues, as well as in crucial phases of policy generation.

As an Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineer there are plenty of opportunities to find a job. Energy engineering related companies have an increasing potential to offer, not only in conventional energy technologies but also in the increasing business of renewable energies.
The energy industry is a growing business worldwide. The programme provides you with the necessary knowledge to have a career in both large energy companies and small local businesses. Your work tasks can be energy engineering related, in energy counselling or several others. You will be able to make key decisions which can contribute to solve climate problems.
Graduating the MSc Innovative Sustainable Energy programme at Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with a high grade point average may also qualify you for admission to PhD studies—either as an industrial PhD with concurrent employment in a company, or as a regular PhD student.
