Overview

You get the opportunity to work with for example stem cells and reconstruction of tissues, clinical and pre-clinical testing of drugs and interactions between marketing and health economics and more.

The Medicine with Industrial Specialisation programme of Aalborg University is composed of three health related profiles: Biomedicine, Translational Medicine and Medical Market Access. As a student you get to choose which profile you want.

Large projects carried out in groups of students are a substantial part of the programme, through which students design and implement solutions to “real life” problems.

Job and Career

A Master of Science (MSc) in Medicine with Industrial Specialisation holds many job opportunities both within the pharmaceutical industry, where there are major challenges in the development, customization and sale of pharmaceuticals and diagnostics and in hospitals in administrative or technical positions. A career in research and science (Ph.D.) is also an option.

General requirements

Admission to a Master’s programme – whether it is taught in English or Danish – requires:

Successful completion of a relevant and recognised university Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Danish Bachelor’s degree in level and length (180 ECTS).
Successful fulfilment of specific admission requirements related to the relevant Master's degree programme.
Successful fulfilment of language requirements, i.e. an AAU approved English test for Master’s programmes taught in English, and a Danish proficiency test (Studieprøven i Dansk) in case a programme is taught in Danish.Before a certain deadline you must meet these requirements.
