Key facts
- The educational objectives of the Industrial Production And Technological Innovation Engineering programme at Politecnico di Torino, to provide engineers with cross cultural backgrounds in production, management, finance and commerce - agreed upon with the partner Universities (AIT –Ireland, UIC – Spain and IPAG Nice – France ) - are the following:
- knowledge of the operational methodologies in technology, production, finance and commerce for the management of operational and manufacturing processes;
- knowledge of the financial, technology and methodology aspects for the management of technological innovation processes;
- the ability to work independently and to work effectively, even in multinational groups;
- the ability to deal with change and, therefore, a strong inclination to continuously update one's knowledge.
- The training areas can be divided into three interconnected blocks:
- legal, financial, commercial and business policies
- production planning & scheduling and logistics
- promotion, management and transfer of technological innovation
- Career opportunities
- Graduates may find employment in Italy and abroad in the industrial, commercial, services and consultancy sectors with functions, roles and gradually increasing responsibilities that concern:
- the organization, management and improvement of production, coping with the ergonomic and safety issues of the production processes;
- the organization and management of direct and reverse logistics and the entire the supply chain, coping with the related ergonomic and safety issues ;
- within industrial research and development, the organization and management of the technological innovation processes and their transfer ;
- marketing and commercial aspects of industrial and service companies;
- administration and financial management both in industry and in service companies.

- hold a Bachelor degree awarded by an accredited foreign university obtained after at least 15 years of previous education(primary and secondary plus university).In case you are enrolled in a “single cycle” Laurea magistrale course (5 or 6 years degree program) and you have not yet graduated, you must have completed at least 15 years of previous education (minimum 3 years at University level) having obtained at least 180 ECTS credits or equivalent.
