Syllabus

The M.Sc. in Data Science and Engineering consists of a structured curriculum over 4 semesters, totalling 120 ECTS credits. The programme includes:

Core Modules (72 ECTS): Covering essential topics such as Machine Learning, Algorithms, Databases, Statistics, and Data Analysis.
Elective Modules: Students can select from a variety of courses in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and more.
Free Options (18 ECTS): Students have the flexibility to choose modules from any scientific field offered at Técnico.
Dissertation (30 ECTS): The final project allows students to specialise in a specific area, which can take the form of a scientific thesis or an internship.
