Overview

It brings together 'conversion' modules of the postgraduate diploma, with modules from the MA taken by those holding an undergraduate landscape degree, combined into a 'straight through' programme for direct entry to the UK profession at Licentiate status.

It is fully accredited by the Landscape Institute.

This course covers:

design modules, where you lead the landscape design process, using a range of drawing and modelling techniques and software taught in the studio; and
theory/ professional practice, where we explore the issues affecting our environment, visit, study, and discuss professional landscape architecture.

This is a two-year programme (full-time) and the fee varies each year. You may also consider applying for the postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture.

Our graduates of Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Landscape Architecture with Conversion from University of East London perform well within the field, achieving recognition and industry awards, and 100 per cent of our Conversion MA graduates have found â€‹landscape architecture jobsâ€‹, employment in practice and in senior research, or policy roles, including many who have not come from an art or design undergraduate programme.â€¯ Our School has links with a range of professional practices and will give you invaluable experience in working collaboratively with other disciplines, on live projects, and with professionals in a practice setting.

All of our postgraduate landscape courses have full accreditation from the Landscape Institute and provide the necessary qualifications to allow registration on the Landscape Institute's Pathway to Chartership.
