Occupational therapists help individuals and communities to maximise productivity, wellbeing and quality of life through occupational participation.
Subject to completion of local requirements, graduates of the Master of Occupational Therapy Practice offered at La Trobe University may be eligible to apply to practice in other countries including the UK, North America and Sweden.

They also work as coordinators and consultants in the development and provision of services in areas such as occupational health and safety, and as private practitioners.
