The Master's Programme in Economics makes you well prepared for highly qualified analytical and investigational work at public authorities and in the public administration, at research institutes, banks and other financial firms, Swedish and international organisations, large firms etc. It also provides the prerequisites for applying to the PhD programme in Economics.

Our graduates work in public and private sector in Sweden and abroad at, for example, Nordea, Quantify Research, the Swedish Tax Agency, Practical Action (UK). Job titles include Project Manager, Lead Analyst and Analyst.

General requirements

A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. Also required is 60 credits in economics and 15 credits in statistics (or closely related subject).
All applicants need to verify English language proficiency that corresponds to English studies at upper secondary (high school) level in Sweden ("English 6").
Students are selected based on a total appraisal of quantity and quality of previous university studies, particularly in economics and statistics.
