Overview
The Simulation and System Design MEng course at the Hochschule Stralsund - University of Applied Sciences focuses on the use of suitable software packages that allow the analysis, development and simulation of such systems.
In addition to the deepening, application and individual specialization of technical competence in the field of simulation, you deal with selected topics from business management so that you are able to assess and justify economic aspects of your decisions.
The course is aimed at both domestic and foreign interested parties and uses English as the teaching and teaching language. In this way, the course prepares you optimally for an international work environment.
Career Opportunities

Completed first degree in mechanical engineering and proof of knowledge in the following subject areas:
- Higher-level programming language of at least 4 hours per week for one semester or 5 ECTS points with a grade of at least 2.0 or with a comparable grade in another grading system and
- Control engineering amounting to at least 4 hours per week for one semester or 5 ECTS points with a grade of at least 2.0 or with a comparable grade in another grading system and
- 3D CAD design amounting to at least 4 hours per week for one semester or 5 ECTS points with a grade of at least 2.0 or with a comparable grade in another grading system and
- The usual mathematical foundations underlying these fields and
- an average mark of your bachelor's degree of at least 2,0
