General requirements

The requirement for admission is a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in computer science, a closely computer science related discipline or an engineering-related field of study with a minimum grade point average of 2,500 on the German scale. The standard duration of the preceding Bachelor's degree program must be at least 6 semesters or cover 180 ECTS credits.

Applicants must prove basic knowledge of computer science with

Minimum of 20 CP (ECTS) in computer science courses (including projects in Digital Engineering)

or

Minimum of one year professional experience in the field of computer science whereas one year can compensate 10 CP (ECTS) of missing courses of computer science.

The Master Digital Engineering can be studied in German or English. The studies can be performed completely in English .
