Key facts

The Reproductive Biology programme at the Stellenbosch University entails an independent research project in the field of reproductive biology (andrology and/or in vitro fertilisation), which culminates in a thesis that constitutes 100% of the final mark for the programme. The research project is selected according to your background and interests and in support of the Faculty's research focus areas. The initial research proposal is approved by a departmental research committee, as well as by the Health Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Progress with experimental work is monitored continuously by the supervisor.
