Overview
The research-based Pathology programme at the Stellenbosch University extends over at least two years of full-time study or three years of part-time study and comprises an approved research project, a thesis, an oral presentation and a student portfolio. The research project can be in Anatomical Pathology, Chemical Pathology, Haematological Pathology or Immunology.

Students with other major subjects in the biological sciences at honours level may be admitted based on an adequate motivation and the successful completion of an admission examination or,
- Depending on the field of study, additional work and/or proof of competency may be required
