The Guidance and Counseling programme at BAU includes descriptive statistics, basic probability, probability distributions, sampling and estimation, testing statistical hypotheses, regression and time series forecasting.

Academic requirements

GPA admission requirements GPA Your GPA, or Grade Point Average, is a number that indicates how well or how high you scored in your courses on average. Usually a GPA scales between 1.0 and 4.0, however different countries and universities can have different grading systems.

English requirements

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.

General requirements

  • Holding a B.A. degree in Psychology and Psychological Counseling and Guidance Departments. Bachelor’s degree graduation grade-point average (GPA) will make up 10% of the admission score.
  • Academic Staff & Graduate Studies Entrance Exam (ALES)
  • A minimum score of 60 in ALES (any type of ALES score) or an equivalent score in any other exam whose equivalency is recognized by the Council of Higher Education is required.
  • Minimum foreign language exam score requirements
  • Assessment of Scientific Competence
  • Written Exam or Interview
