Overview

Students of the Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences course at The Chinese University of Hong Kong can select research programmes from a wide spectrum of eye diseases in Corneal and External Eye Diseases, Cataracts and Refractive Errors, Glaucoma, Vitreoretinal Diseases, as well as Orbital, Thyroid, Neurologic, Genetic and Children Eye Diseases.

Students are accessible to all equipment and facilities in our research clinic and laboratories in ophthalmic imaging, microscopy, electrophysiology, molecular genomics, gene functions, cell and tissue culture, stem cells, experimental animals, and analytical biochemistry.
