Overview

The Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Department at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is research-oriented. It will follow a prescribed series of investigation and students should inform themselves in depth about the field of knowledge relevant to the topic of their projects.

Students are expected to do full-time research under the supervision of a staff member. They may also be asked to provide occasional services to the department. The Faculty arranges a number of compulsory courses in laboratory methods and biostatistics that the student is expected to attend and pass.

graduated from a recognized university and obtained a bachelor's degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class; or

graduated from an honours programme of a recognized university with a bachelor's degree, normally achieving an average grade of not lower than "B"; or
