Overview
Program Goals
The Brain and Cognitive Sciences program from Seoul National University aim to educate a neuroscientist who can perform top-notch scientific research and thus can compete at any institution worldwide. In order to achieve the goal, we envision to raise a neuroscientist with the following key qualities through our departmental educational system:
- Mastery of key theoretical issues in his/her research area
- Mastery of fundamental as well as advanced research techniques
- Communication skills that will allow freely exchanging ideas with foreign researchers
- Responsibility for the academic community and public by holding high standard for research ethics
