In an increasingly complex and competitive business environment, managers need to understand the commercial opportunities that the environmental sector offers, as well as the standards of performance which customers, shareholders and regulatory agencies now expect.

The MA in Environmental Management prepares you for these challenges. It will develop your skills in decision making, specialist environmental knowledge, and the ability to solve problems in real-world situations.

The programme also includes a six month research placement where you will have the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills to the test by working for a small-medium sized company, a public sector body or voluntary sector organisation.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

Academic Requirements

  • Entry requirements: 2:1 (Hons) degree (UK) or equivalent in Environmental Science, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Ecology, Social Sciences, Human Geography (Urban and Regional Planning), Business, Energy or similar degrees.
  • IELTS: Overall score of at least 6.5, with no individual element below 6.0
