Pre-Requisite courses for Eligibility

Since the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program of the National University of Sciences and Technology is an interdisciplinary degree, it is expected that potential candidates joining this program may come from diverse background such as IT, engineering (civil, mechanical, software, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, computer, industrial, chemical, metallurgical etc.), business management, Economics, Agriculture etc. HEC requirement of 30 credits worth of relevant coursework cannot be fulfilled perse as such a degree is not offered in bachelors anywhere in Pakistan.

However a list of 3 broad categories of subjects are presented below. Within each of the 3 broad categories various courses are listed. A total of ten courses or 30 credits hours of UG coursework in business subjects may be required to fulfill the HEC requirement. In case of different nomenclature of courses, the admissions committee is going to decide on a case to case basis. Any shortfall needs to be met by attending additional courses offered by the School.

General requirements

Engineering / IT / BBA / MBA and related discipline form HEC recognized institute

Bachelors degree must be recognized by HEC/PEC/ (as applicable) recognized institute

GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 August 2018 by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test score or Higher Education Apptitude Test (HAT) conducted by HEC in or after March 2019 with atleast 50 accumulative test score or GMAT conducted by GMAC, USA with minimum 50 percentile score.
