Overview

The Robotics and Intelligent Machine Engineering program of the National University of Sciences and Technology requires the student to complete 22 – 23 credit hours of theory and 1 – 2 credit hours of lab work including 6 core and 2 elective courses.

The programme

The students are required to take up a research thesis in any of the streams identified above. The PhD program requires the students to study 6 courses focusing on the stream of their choice and then undertake research for a PhD dissertation. The laboratories housing most modern equipment available at the department make it possible for the students to gather practical results for their experiments wherever required.

BE in Mechatronics/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Computer / Industrial / Manufacturing / Aerospace / Avionics / Computer Software / Computer Science OR equivalent degree

Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after HSSC/A' Level in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks (percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript)

GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 August 2018 by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test score or Higher Education Apptitude Test (HAT) conducted by HEC in or after March 2019 with atleast 50 accumulative test score or GRE (General) conducted by ETS, USA
