Characteristics

The Industrial Logistics Systems at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University programme provides an opportunity for managers and engineers who graduated from engineering and other disciplines, to obtain additional expertise in the planning, organising, staffing, training, assessing, reporting, monitoring, coordinating and controlling of information and other resources involved in the production of goods and services and delighting the customers. Study tour will be arranged for students to visit the logistics facilities and attend classes in the universities of the Chinese mainland.

All compulsory subjects are assessed by coursework elements.
Classes are scheduled on weekday evenings or weekends.
All compulsory subjects have been included on the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) list of reimbursable courses.
The maximum registration period for completing the MSc (full-time/part-time) is 4 years.

General requirements

A Bachelor's degree with Honours in engineering, business, management, applied mathematics or science; or a professional qualification or the equivalent.

Applications will be considered on the basis of the information (such as academic achievements, professional qualifications and work experience) provided in the application.

You may be required to attend an interview and/or test.

Departments will consider applications on a rolling basis until places are filled.

Some programmes will receive applications in two rounds

Consideration will also be given to candidates without Honours degrees but with other relevant qualifications, supplemented by appropriate work experience.
