Overview
The Human Rights and Democratisation program of Mahidol University is designed for students who are aiming to become academics, researchers, experts at the university or staff of leaders of NGOs on human rights, nation and democratic development.
The Asia Pacific MA in Human Rights and Democratisation (APMA) is a one-year interdisciplinary program that highlights the inseparable links between human rights, democracy, peace, and development in the Asia Pacific region.
The degree is offered by Mahidol Unviersity and jointly taught with Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines), Gadjah Mada Unviersity (Indonesia), Kathmandu School of Law (Nepal), and the Unviersity of Colombo (Sri Lanka). Students spend their first semester in Mahidol Unviersity and choose one of four partner universities for their second semester.
